Rohn Rigby, MD
Dr. Rohn Rigby is a compassionate Family Practice Physician and Board-Certified Obesity Medicine specialist with over 20 years of experience, and nearly a decade dedicated specifically to obesity and metabolic health. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Rigby now lives in Utah with his wife and four amazing kids. Outside the clinic, you’ll find him staying active through running and biking, not just as a hobby, but as part of the lifestyle that transformed his own health.
Dr. Rigby knows the weight loss journey personally. He’s struggled with his own weight for much of his life. But after years of frustration, research, and trial-and-error, he discovered the keys to overcoming insulin resistance and achieving lasting, sustainable health. That breakthrough didn’t just change his life, it gave him a mission: to help others do the same.
Since then, he’s poured his heart into understanding the science behind obesity and insulin resistance, spending countless hours studying, educating, and empowering his patients. He’s not just a physician, he’s walked the walk.
His staff will tell you he’s the smartest guy they know, but also the most selfless, hardworking, and dedicated physician around. He listens. He educates. And yes, sometimes his wait times run long, because he gives each patient the time they need and deserve. In a healthcare world that’s often rushed, Dr. Rigby stands out by slowing down and showing up. The wait is worth every minute.

Born and raised in Roy, Utah, Walker has always been driven by a passion for helping others. For nearly six years, he has been a dedicated part of the Ogden Clinic Weight and Metabolic Center, working alongside Dr. Rigby. In total, he has been with Ogden Clinic for over seven years, an impressive tenure that reflects both his commitment to patient care and his personal growth within the organization.
When Walker first began working under Dr. Rigby, he had no idea how deeply he would connect with the work being done. Over time, he developed a strong passion for the clinic’s mission and Dr. Rigby's teachings. His dedication and leadership quickly became evident, leading to his advancement from medical assistant to team lead, and now to his current role as clinical supervisor. His contributions have made a lasting impact on both the clinic and its patients.
In recent years, Walker has been diligently pursuing his Registered Nurse (RN) degree, with plans to graduate this upcoming December. To complete his training, he will soon be taking a temporary leave to fulfill his Nursing Capstone in Ogden Clinic’s Hematology/Oncology department, a placement that aligns with his aspiration to serve in both departments after graduation. Looking further ahead, Walker has set his sights on becoming a Nurse Practitioner and hopes to one day care for his own panel of patients under Dr. Rigby’s mentorship.
Outside of the clinic, Walker’s often found studying hard, grabbing a coffee from Dutch Bros, caring for his many beloved pets, or spending quality time with his family. He is also a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights, bringing empathy, inclusivity, and heart to everything he does, both professionally and personally.

Monserrat Rico-Uribe, CMA
Monserrat is one of our amazing Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) here at the Ogden Clinic Weight and Metabolic Center, and we’re so lucky to have her! She’s been part of the team for over four years now, and in that time, she has become nothing short of essential. Her coworkers lovingly refer to her as “Monse,” the glue that holds the team together. She’s known for being the most caring, hardworking, and dependable person around. Our practice truly wouldn’t be the same without her dedication, warmth, and steady presence.
Originally from Michoacán, Mexico, Monserrat earned her degree as a Médico Cirujano, which translates to “Surgeon Doctor,” equivalent to a Medical Doctor in the United States. An impressive accomplishment that speaks volumes about her intelligence, drive, and commitment to healthcare. After moving to the U.S. to begin a new chapter with her husband, Luis, Monse continued her medical journey by earning her CMA from Ogden-Weber Applied Technical College.
She first joined Ogden Clinic during her school externship, working at our Canyon View office in urgent care at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even in those challenging times, her calm under pressure and tireless compassion stood out. It wasn’t long before she transitioned into a full-time role within our clinic, where she has remained a crucial part of our team ever since.
Outside of work, Monse is a proud wife and mother of two beautiful children, who are the center of her world. When she’s not busy taking care of patients, she’s pouring her heart into her family. Around the clinic, she’s known as the “mother hen” of the team, always looking out for others, offering support, and adding her signature sass and humor to every day. Simply put, she’s one of the most selfless, genuine, and inspiring people you’ll ever meet.
We’re endlessly grateful to have Monserrat as part of our Ogden Clinic Weight and Metabolic Center family!

Katy vigil, CMA
Katy has been an essential part of Dr. Rigby’s team for nearly a decade, and in that time, she’s truly done it all. From the early days working alongside Dr. Rigby in family practice and urgent care, to helping him pioneer medical weight loss as a specialty, Katy has been there every step of the way. Her commitment has never wavered, not through the Davis Family Physicians location burning down, not through countless conferences, and not even during the height of a global pandemic. Whatever challenges have come their way, Katy has met them with resilience, loyalty, and heart.
Over the years, Katy has built deep, meaningful relationships with many of her patients. For a number of them, seeing Katy is truly the highlight of their appointment. Her warmth, energy, and sense of humor make every interaction feel personal. She has often said that this is the only job she ever wants, and even jokes with Dr. Rigby that when he retires, one of his kids better take over the practice so she can keep working here!
Outside of the clinic, Katy leads a full and vibrant life. She’s a proud mom to a one-year-old daughter, and she loves spending time with her family at their property in Montana. She’s also deeply passionate about energy work and has been practicing energy healing for several years, recently earning her Master Reiki certification in 2024.
Katy will forever be known as the “OG” medical assistant, the heart of the clinic, with her iconic poof and unforgettable presence. Her dedication, positivity, and genuine care have left a lasting mark on both the team and the patients she serves so wholeheartedly.
